About Me

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Firstly, Hello, and thank you for your interest in my work. My Name is Lissette. I also go by Lizzie, Bebe (Spanish way of saying baby and used by my husband) and by MUMMY x 1 million, which brings me to tell you I have two children, one boy and one girl. My boy is sweet and cuddly, my girl is strong-willed and decisive, and yes, She is a mini-me, and my son is my husband’s mini.

WHERE AM I FROM?

I was born in Miami to Colombian parents. I spent seven years of my life in Colombia, where I learned to speak perfect Spanish and 23 years in the US between Miami and Atlanta. The rest have been here in my lovely home in Bedfordshire, UK.
People often ask me why I have left the US, and the answer is always the same: I moved here because my husband is British, and I also dreamed of living in England for most of my life. The history, the culture and the landscape are bewitching to me. It is improbable I would ever move back to the US, although things have changed at the moment, and for the past ten years, the UK has had my heart. Also, my kids were born here, and they love their home.

THE REASON I BECAME A PHOTOGRAPHER

My kids are the reason I became a photographer full-time for three reasons:
Number one, I did not want to leave my children in the nursery full-time. I wanted to be there every second of their young lives with them. I was fortunate that Steve was able to look after us without me having to go to work full-time. Two, I wanted to create beautiful artwork. As an ex-film student, my life revolves around the arts and creating. My family is also very creative. My mum is a beautiful painter, and my dad is a fantastic Musician and producer, so in our home, the Arts are always encouraged. Lastly, I wanted to be able to give people the gift of everlasting art explicitly tailored for them.
I love working with people and creating beautiful images that will be cherished forever.
I hope to meet you soon!

IMPORTANT FAQ's

how to look good in photos
Being prepared for your session is the best thing you can do. Here are some answers for you.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Well, this depends on the session you are after and the season. In our years of expertise, however, we can say that the things you need to avoid when planning what to wear are any baggy clothes, too many lines or patterns, or any “now” trendy garments. These date your photographs. Remember, We are planning for a classic and timeless look. Any well-fitted clothes in Black, white or creams are the best. However, during your consultation, we will discuss this and make a plan with you.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHALL I BOOK?

Four weeks in advance is enough to plan the perfect session together; however, you can book as soon as you like.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

At the moment we do not offer payment plans, however, we do accept Cash, Bank Transfer, Debit or Credit card.

DO YOU EDIT ALL PORTRAITS?

Yes! We edit all our portraits in-house, and on your consultation, we talk about the level of retouching you require.

DO YOU HAVE A MAKE-UP AND HAIR ARTIST?

Unfortunately at the moment, we do not. I recommend finding one in advance to get you ready. We do light touches here through, but we are not experts in Make-up or hair styling.

HOW MANY OUTFITS SHOULD I BRING?

Once we discuss your session styling, we suggest 3 to 4 outfits, including accessories and shoes.

WHEN WILL I GET MY FINISHED PHOTOS?

It takes us 2 to 3 weeks to complete your gallery and order any artwork. I do however show a sneak peek without 72 hours of the session.

My style is Warm and Moody. I offer Three different types of sessions:

1. Outdoor Sessions
